ALittleHistory

The Vashon Café opened in the summer of 2006. It was a personal touch of Leslie’s. As a citizen of Vashon Island, she wanted to give her community some place to stop and enjoy a reprieve from life with friends over bread. This addition was an enhancement by giving the community an oasis of yummy breads, tasty pastries and savories. While most locations have a production area, this Macrina location leaves the busy work to the city, receiving daily deliveries of Macrina breads and treats. The small store offers fresh bread, pastries and prepared meals.
